1999
Contrary to the last news posting the band is definitely now
touring with the Business starting on the 26th January across
the US and have been told we will be second top of the bill
on the tour. We will also most likely be appearing with the
Dropkick Murphys on one or two shows immediately prior to
the Business tour these shows will also be in the US.
The band are appearing with the legendary Peter & the
Test-tube Babies at the White Knight in Crawley (UK) on Sunday
5th December with tickets available now priced at £5
advance.
Also the band are head-lining the Camden Underworld for the
first time on Saturday 15th January and tickets are also now
available for this show priced at £5 from us or the
venue. This will be an album party release show and we have
two superb bands playing with us, Red Flag 77 and Airbomb.
This show is being called the night of the new breed of UK
punk bands and there appears to be a lot of interest already.
The band are appearing on a compilation album "Scenekiller
2" compilation on Outsider Records from California and
we are appearing on it alongside such bands as Dropkick Murphys,
UK Subs and Menace. It is available directly from Outsider
or through the band and is released 30th November. Our track
is a live version of Hayley recorded at Streetpunk 99.

tour in January. More information will follow as we get it.

Posted 23 October 1999 A Big thank you to all the people who
attended our US Tour Gigs !!
Beerzone have just returned home this week from their highly
successful debut coast to coast tour of the USA exhausted
but delighted with the response they received from the audiences
they played to from Boston in the North East to San Francisco
on the West coast. They would like to say a huge thank you
to everyone who came along and made their tour such a great
experience. Due to the audiences superb welcome to the band
we have now been asked to come back and tour again in the
spring of next year. This would seem to be the best time as
it is around three months after the release of the album,
6th December 1999, and also due to the amount of travel involved
between shows the roads should be clear of winter snows. On
the spring tour the band have been told they will be placed
higher up the bill to reflect the success of the initial tour.
The album is available through Flat/TKO Records, Cat. No.
FLAT/TKO 6819 and is distributed world wide through Mordam,
release date 6th December 1999. There are also new tour and
album T-shirts available to mark the tour as well as girlie
T-shirts, please see the merchandise pages. Once again the
band says a big thank you to everyone they had the pleasure
to meet on their travels and of course to Ken Casey of the
Dropkick Murphys without whom this tour would not have happened,
thank you very much.

The two shows in Birkenhead and Rotherham last weekend were
big successes with both shows very well attended. The band
would like to thank the promoters at both venues, Ochie and
Ally, and everyone who attended the shows.
The company distributing the latest single, Gazza Gazza, have
contacted us to say that they have sold out of all CD's they
received and the editor of the excellent bi-monthly punk magazine,
Pulped, also contacted us to say they had run out of their
initial batch and wished to order more, so it's a big thanks
to everyone out there who has bought the releases from all
the band.
Also have a look at the Gig Guide for details of up and coming
gigs including provisional US Tour Dates with the Dropkick
Murphys.

The band were recently featured on a documentary for Czech
TV which featured the UK Subs, 999, Stranglers, Dead Kennedys
and ATV which we thought was an honour but still had to ask
the interviewers why we were actually there, they just said
"Up and coming band, up and coming band".
Top US magazine Flipside reviewed the new "Gazza Gazza"
single in their July/August edition and gave a very favourable
write up indeed, this comes hot on the trail of London mag
"Open Up and Bleed" giving the single their single
of the month award....the single has been played on dozens
of shows across the UK and in several European and South American
countries including the BBC World Service as well as being
played at the English Premiership Football Club, Middlesborough
FC's sound system on match days. The radio plays have resulted
in several interviews for the band on radio stations from
all areas of the UK.
The band are currently awaiting the draft contract for their
proposed two album deal with the Dropkick Murphys own label,
Flat Records, and are awaiting the finalised tour schedule
for their guest spot on the Dropkick Murphys autumn American
tour...Already finalised are 3 shows in Germany and 4 in the
UK including a date at the famous LA2 in London ( see gig
guide for more details ).
The band have received a very warm reception from the audience
at the recent "Holidays in the Sun" weekend in Morecambe,
England and got to play on the same bill as legendary bands
like the Damned, the Dickies and Sham 69 which capped off
a great ten day period after their very successful appearance
at the Streetpunk 99 festival in Kansas, Missouri where they
played along with a host of top US streetpunk bands and a
live album is being released featuring all the bands from
the show and will be available in the next two months.
The band have been asked to play three nights in the Outer
Hebrides in November and all the details and dates are being
finalised presently.
